We will be starting with the basics for speed and handling . All PWC,S built at R Rated Performance are built to be reliable ! We have had years of Endurance Racing and we have learned the fastest ski doesn't always win ! We have raced in races up to 4 hrs and reliability is key ! Also if you are using it for rec riding nobody likes to break down .

Stock Speed : 65.7 on GPS the stock Speedo on the gauge was around 70mph This was with the ski having 2 bars of fuel and only 3 hrs on motor .
First we would like to thank Toms River Yamaha for letting us grab one of the last Fzs from there stock , And letting us grab a rear FZR seat set-up . First we removed the foam from the side panels that restricts the air flow and we remove the nice engine cover .
Next we installed a R Rated Performance Air intake and a R Rated Free flow Exhaust kit .

After installing the parts it was out on the water again ! Top Speed GPS 67.5 These parts helped out a little but when we do more mod's to the motor is when these parts will help even more . Also they almost removed over 12 Lbs from the ski and made more room in the bilge .

Ok now with :
R Rated Air intake , R Rated free flow exhaust , Riva Stainless intake grate and Riva Ride plate , Ribbon delete in manifold ,
We GPS the ski at same fuel level and Top speed was 69.8 While we were out on the water We switched the ECU With a R&D Reflash Speed Would be Allot faster if we installed a C1 supercharger Wheel but we are trying to see what it will do with not touching the motor YET ! With the R2 reflash the ski went 72.0 with 5 speed runs .
We Just installed a MOTEC ECU into the ski ! The purpose of this is so we can monitor the complete engine while we design new parts for the ski . Like GPS , extra temp sensors for a custom intake manifold and intercooler . First test will be with the motec just as the ski sits to get a base line speed and record engine data before mod's start !
